Founder and lead architect Eric Long drives this purpose, inspired by a career path that has taken him from Oklahoma to San Francisco and now to Northwest Arkansas. That path between rural, suburban, and urban environments fostered a unique collection of influences informing an architecture of balance: balance of spatial and material choices, movement between inside and outside spaces that prioritizes each with equal consequence, and balance of vision with pragmatism. E Long Architecture moves these principles from the territory of lofty ideas to the practical built environment, working collaboratively and effectively with clients, review boards, engineers, and builders through all project phases.

The terms sleek, organic, and rustic are often used to describe our firm’s fluid deployment of spatial volumes, elevations, and materiality. Wood, stone, glass, and steel work in symphony with sweeping roof overhangs and other striking compositions to create an architecture of harmony between client and building, building and site, and site and community.
